Addiction Consultation Hotline
The UW Addiction Consultation Hotline offers on-call help to health care
providers seeking support and direction in dealing with their patients'
substance abuse problems. Addiction specialists on the hotline provide
advice for long-term and follow-up care and provide counseling. The
hotline is available weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This hotline is
funded in part by a grant from the Wisconsin Department of Health
Services through legislation enacted as part of the HOPE Agenda.

Family Medicine for America's Health - December 2018 Update
The Health Equity Team met in Kansas City with staff from the AAFP’s
Center for Diversity and Health Equity (CDHE) to transition FMAHealth
developed products to the CDHE for ongoing stewardship and development.
The CDHE is the voice of health equity for the specialty of family
medicine and has been working in close collaboration with the Health
Equity Team since CDHE’s inception in 2017.

From January 1 to February 14, 2019, 127** individual cases of measles have been confirmed in 10 states. Click here to view CDC information on the outbreaks. Though Wisconsin is not among the states to experience an outbreak, providing vaccines to your patients can help prevent one from starting.
