Nurturing and Developing Family Physician Leaders is one of
four areas of focus in the WAFP’s strategic plan.
As part of our goal to nurture the development of family physician leaders in
their communities, practices, and within the Academy at both the state and
national level, we will continue to publish Leadership Spotlight’s on our
website and in our newsletters as a way to highlight the successes and
accomplishments of our members.
Be sure to check out our 2018
leadership spotlights for inspiring stories of how Family Physicians
are making a difference in their communities and practices. We are currently
looking for compelling stories to publish in our 2019 spotlights. If you or
someone you know has a leadership story to tell, please contact us
to share more information. We will be happy to reach out and arrange a
