The Wisconsin Academy of Family Physicians is pleased to once again partner with the Maryland, Minnesota, and Ohio chapters of the American Academy of Family Physicians to offer an American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM)-endorsed Family Medicine Certification (FMC) Knowledge Self-Assessment (KSA) Group Study on the Care of Hospitalized Patients.

Please note: Participation is limited to the first 25 members who register. Registrants after the first 25 will be placed on a waiting list. This KSA will take place virtually on Zoom, and the joining link will be emailed out to registrants about one week in advance of the event.
Learning Objectives
This activity focuses on all aspects of hospital care, including diagnosis and management of conditions requiring hospitalization; diagnostic testing during admission; prevention of complications; and discharge planning and systems-based care issues.
After completing the Care of Hospitalized Patients KSA, the physician will be able to close knowledge gaps and:
1. have a better understating of common medical conditions related to hospitalized patients.
2. be able to manage, diagnosis and treat common conditions of hospitalized patients.
3. to prevent and manage common complications related to medical conditions of hospitalized patients.
4. have a better understanding of appropriate use of diagnostic testing.
5. have a better understanding in areas of discharge planning and systems-based care.

If you do not recall your password, please use the “Help! I forgot my password and/or username” link on the ABFM website to reset your password. If you have any questions about how many Family Medicine Certification activities are required for you at this time and/or when you need to complete them, the ABFM can assist you.
The ABFM charges a Certification Process Fee; the amount varies depending on your re-election cycle. This fee is in addition to the cost to participate in our program. You do not need to pay the Certification Process Fee in advance to earn credit for participation in the program.
Cancellation:
