Beth Menzel, MD, FAAFP

Advocacy in Family Medicine


Dr. Menzel enjoys teaching and practicing the full spectrum of Family Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin Fox Valley Family Medicine Residency, where she serves as the Program Director. She has special interests in health advocacy (community and legislative), prenatal care/obstetrics, and resident education. 

Ray Ebarb, MD, FAAFP

Medical Improv


Dr. Ray Ebarb is a distinguished family physician and co-founder of Rx Theatres, LLC. Board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Ebarb brings over three decades of experience to his practice and education roles. Trained at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine under Professor Katie Watson, he specializes in using improvisational acting exercises to enhance medical professionals' empathy and adaptability.

Theo Ebarb

Medical Improv


Theo, a seasoned actor, brings a rich background in classical and contemporary performance to his medical improv workshops. Trained in improv at the Gateway Playhouse and with the Tectonic Theatre Company, Theo combines his theatrical expertise with innovative teaching methods to enhance communication in healthcare professionals. Join Theo at WAFP’s Student & Resident Leadership Summit to discover the transformative power of medical improv in fostering collaboration and resilience.
