Annual Winter Refresher Course

March 2- 3, 2023

The 53rd Winter Refresher Course for Family Medicine

The Wisconsin Academy of Family Physicians is excited to collaborate with the Medical College of Wisconsin on the 53rd Winter Refresher Course for Family Medicine. Plan to join the WAFP for our member reception on Thursday.

Reception Date: Thursday, March 2, 2023, at 4:30 p.m.

Location: Ingleside Hotel and Waterpark, Pewaukee WI 

Registration: Open

This program is designed for family physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other primary care clinicians caring for patients of all ages and backgrounds. 

After this program, attendees will be able to:

  • Apply evidence-based updates on the prevention, diagnosis, and management of conditions commonly seen in primary care
  • Discuss social and environmental factors that influence health and healthcare outcomes
  • Discuss practical strategies to enhance primary care practice and policies
  • Effectively perform selected common office-based procedures
  • Network with colleagues across the state 

CME/CE: The Medical College of Wisconsin designates this live activity for a maximum of 14.45 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM for physicians, and 14.45 Credits of participation in continuing education for allied health professionals.
