2026 WAFP & MCW Winter Refresher Course

Attend the 56th Annual Winter Refresher Course on March 12-13, 2026. Hosted by the WAFP and the Medical College of Wisconsin, this event will bring together physicians from all over the state for educational presentations and networking opportunities.

We are now accepting session proposals for the 2026 MCW & WAFP Winter Refresher Course! 

We’re specifically looking for proposals on the following topics, though all proposals on topics relevant to family medicine will be considered.

• Adult Medicine with a focus on updated guidelines (e.g. Diabetes, Cardiovascular, Renal, Pulmonary, Preoperative Conditions, Advanced Lipid Testing)
• Dermatology (e.g. Common Skin Disorders)
• Addiction Medicine
• Integrative Medicine
• Practice Management/Business of Medicine
• Mental/Behavioral Health (e.g. Adult ADHD diagnosis, Pharmacologic options for behavioral health)
• Pediatrics (e.g. Mental Health, Autism, Musculoskeletal)
• Geriatrics
• Sports Medicine/Orthopedics
• Women’s Health (e.g. Osteoporosis, Abnormal Uterine Bleeding)
• Obstetrics
• Any clinical topics relevant to Family Medicine  

Proposals must be submitted by October 15 to be considered.
