Purpose: A clinically-focused webinar for clinicians on the synthetic cannabinoid outbreak investigation.

Details:
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) is investigating cases of severe bleeding in people who have usedsynthetic cannabinoids, also known as K2, spice, or fake weed. DHS is hosting a webinar on Friday, July 13, at 12:00 pm to summarize the investigation and to provide guidance to clinicians and infection preventionists in addressing this issue in their work.

Access information:
Participants should test their connections prior to the webinar. DHS will send a link to a recording after the webinar. Remember to call the Wisconsin Poison Center if someone presents with unexplained bleeding and a high INR: 1-800-222-1222.
