Practice Manual for Addressing Alcohol and Other Substance Use

This manual provides a systems-change approach for implementing universal screening and intervention for alcohol use and other substance use – specifically, use of tobacco and marijuana – in your practice.

Every patient who uses alcohol excessively and/or uses other substances is identified and offered appropriate intervention, referral or treatment.
